On a short lease

So, Josi is usually found toting one of her stuffed animals around on a homemade lease made up of whatever long and narrow item she can find. Like, Ben's belt or a scarf or ribbon. This time she found something much more interesting and Ben had to take a picture.

(It is just her panties censored)

My Favorite Blog

My wife is addicted to blogging. I love that she can share our family with the world and gets a kick out of keeping up on everyone Else's lives. Ironically our blog is not my favorite. My favorite blog is one I found a few years ago. I slowly grew to like it. Now every week I check it to catch up on the latest. I can't go a week without it. I thought I would share it since I found out there are so many "bloggers" out there. I must warn that this blog can be graphic, vulgar, and downright explicit. I warn those that don't care for that sort of thing. I don't know that there is any way to rationalize my viewing of it other than it is real. Every week I spend a little time and get a different perspective on life. I find out new things about myself and realize others share the same feelings as I do. It has been somewhat therapeutic. I recommend it. Maybe many have already seen it because it has become quite popular. So if you are interested here it is . . . . www.postsecret.blogspot.com and here is a video . . . (again, some very real material that may be considered inappropriate)

Little Boys

What is it about little boys and making messes and stuffing things in places they don't belong? This morning for breakfast we had cold cereal, which we only do about once a week. Josi had Reese's Puffs, I had Cinnamon Life and Hyrum had Kix. While I was taking the recycling can out to the curb for pickup this morning, Hyrum decided to throw his soggy cereal at Josi, so it was all over the table and floor, he even had one on top of his head. So I cleaned it up and sat down to eat my cereal. A few minutes later Hyrum was sticking his finger up his nose, saying "no" (nose) and sniffing like he has a stuffy nose. I went over to check it out and of course, he had a Kix up his nose, stuffed way up there because he was trying to get it out, just making it worse. I wasn't sure how to get it out, then I thought to use one of those bulb suctions you get at the hospital when you have a baby. So I ran upstairs and found one. I wasn't able to get it out with the suction, but I could get it down far enough that it irritated his nose and made him sneeze a few times. Not only did the one Kix come out, but two did. One on each side. He is such a boy. This isn't the first time he has tried to stuff something up his nose either. I have caught him in the act a few times before.

On another note, he likes Wasabe. So weird, I got some yesterday at the grocery store for sushi and Ben decided to it would be funny to have the kids try it. So he put a little tiny smear on their fingers, warning them that it was yucky. They were hesitant at first and and Josi only tried it after Hyrum had. We were both expecting a big reaction, but Hyrum just stuck his tongue out and in a couple times. Ben asked him if he wanted more and he did. Josi didn't want any more. It was pretty funny. He is a kid that likes limes though.
